On that note, I also asked them on three separate occasions what the Current feature does and they ignored the question. After I provided them they stopped contacting me. I emailed them multiple times and their only response has been to ask for photo examples. Tech support's response has been.missing. Another fun fact: I had to copy and paste because the array feature in RE3 consistently distorts or deletes my rasters (even though they look fine on the screen, the machine output is corrupted). This is after I learned to never start a job from the machine and always initiate a cut from the software and yet I still have these problems. You can see where it synced after I copied and pasted, but failed to catch that I moved the raster images down. I've had multiple instances where this resulted in wasted material. The cherry on top is, even though the machine is constantly syncing, there is no preview window on the DSP! This means that you have no way to verify what the machine is actually about to try and cut. This leads to some hefty wait times when moving complex cuts around and even worse, miscommunication between browser and machine when you change something while it's trying to sync.

The main problem, as far as I can see, is that it's trying to be "always on" which means any time you move a vector a single pixel it wants to resync with your machine. Retina Engrave 3 has a few small features that are pretty good: same controls as Illustrator so easy to learn and loads from a browser so you can run it on pretty much any machine. I bought a PS48 from Full Spectrum a few months back and while the hardware has been pretty solid, the software is making me want to pull my hair out.
